Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the website at https://christianai.donbarger.com and its associated AI-powered training course (collectively, the "Services") operated by Don Barger ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Description of Services

Faith & AI provides a web-based training course, readiness assessments, and AI-powered coaching tools designed to help Christians engage artificial intelligence wisely and faithfully. The Services are intended for educational and personal development purposes only and are not a substitute for pastoral counsel, biblical scholarship, or professional advice.

3. Accounts and Access

Access to the Services requires signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Free access is limited to Module 1 of the course. Full access to all modules, assessments, and AI coaching requires a paid purchase or a valid invite or access code.

4. Payments and Refunds

Course purchases are processed through Stripe. All sales are final. If you experience a technical issue that prevents access to paid content, contact us at dbarger@imb.org and we will resolve it promptly. Church license invite codes are non-transferable and valid only for the number of seats purchased.

5. Permitted Use

You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial, and ministry-related purposes consistent with the Services' intended function. You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Submit content that is abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract underlying models, prompts, or data from the Services
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Services without prior written permission
• Introduce viruses, malware, or any other harmful code into the Services
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any organization
• Share course content, access codes, or certificates in ways that circumvent the payment model

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Services use large language models to generate coaching responses and roadmaps. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. You are solely responsible for evaluating any AI-generated content before acting on it. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any AI output. Always verify theological or doctrinal claims against authoritative Scripture and trusted sources.

7. No Sensitive Personal Information

Do not submit sensitive personal information (including but not limited to full names of others, financial information, health data, or government identification numbers) through any AI chat interface within the Services.

8. Intellectual Property

All course content, design, trademarks, and technology comprising the Services are the property of Don Barger or their respective licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right or license to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the course content without express written permission.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services integrate with or link to third-party providers including Google (authentication), Stripe (payments), and OpenRouter (AI processing). We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DON BARGER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Don Barger from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.
